Problems to Pay Attention to Before Operating The Band Saw

1) Do a comprehensive inspection before starting the machine, check in detail whether the mechanical components, safety protection devices are good, saw blade has no damage and cracks, there is no iron nails, lead wire or other hard debris on the wood, no problem can be started.

2) After the boot, the saw blade can be fed until it reaches a high speed. The feed speed should be controlled according to the soft and hard material and whether there are joints, cracks and the thickness of the sawing material. When feeding, pay attention to observe the saw edge, and when entering the saw, it should be stable and slow, not too hard; To prevent damage to the saw blade.

3) During sawing, it is necessary to always observe the movement of the saw blade in operation, such as the saw blade moving back and forth, breaking sound and other abnormal phenomena, it is necessary to stop immediately to prevent the saw blade from breaking and wounding people.

4) When operating, the hand and the saw blade should maintain a certain distance, the distance should not be less than 50cm, and do not extend the hand through the saw blade, in order to prevent hand injury.

5) When sawing, it is not allowed to adjust the guide rail while sawing; When the saw blade is running, it is not allowed to adjust the saw card to prevent accidents.

6) When sending the wood back, pay attention to the position of the wood and the saw blade, so as not to collide with the wood or remove the saw blade. If there is a clipping phenomenon in the sawing, the sawblade should be separated by the hand, and do not backslide to prevent the saw blade from falling off. When the saw blade path on the workbench surface is blocked by broken wood, the stick should be stripped, and the machine should be shut down if necessary. It must not be cleared by hand to prevent hand injury.
