wood dryer

How to commission the wood dryer?

1. Before loading the kiln: first open all the doors and light the furnace. The empty kiln starts to heat up, and all the doors, radiators, control boxes, and high-temperature fans are all adjusted and running normally. Then start loading wood into the kiln and enter the formal drying stage

2. Commissioning of high-temperature fans (all high-temperature fans in the kiln): The fans in the kiln are divided into fully automatic control and manual control. The fully automatic control cabinet and the fans in the kiln are coordinated before loading the kiln, and are manually adjusted (technicians explain and debug the control cabinet on site). All fans in the kiln must turn in the same direction, and they must all turn forward when they are rotating forward, and they must all turn backward when they are reversed. The fan must be debugged in a single way so that all fans blow in one direction. If they are all rotating forward, and there is a reverse rotation, open the electric control box and change (reverse fan) its thread end to make it rotate forward.

How to stacking wood before drying?

1. Wood stacking method: air ducts must be left at both ends of the wood pile (that is, the two empty sides in the drying kiln). Depending on the size of the drying kiln, 500-1000CM air ducts can be left. After each drying of the wood, after leaving the kiln or before loading the kiln, all the sawdust on the floor of the kiln must be cleaned up at one time.

2. Operation method: The valves on the steam inlet pipe and the raft door on the steam return pipe of the drying room in use must be fully opened, so that two drying rooms can be dried at the same time. If it is operated alone, all valves on the steam inlet pipe and steam return pipe of the other kiln that is not used must be completely closed, and the drying kiln used alone is opened (technician on-site explanation)

What's the drying process of wood ?

1. Dehumidification method: Open all the dehumidification holes on the top of the kiln first when dehumidifying, and close them all when not dehumidifying. According to the type and thickness of the wood, it is divided into no dehumidification, dehumidification for half an hour or one hour. It must be noted that after each dehumidification, all the dehumidification holes are completely closed.

2.. Drying process of fir wood: mainly 2-3 cm; when the temperature in the kiln rises to 60 degrees, all the dehumidification holes on the top of the kiln are opened to start dehumidification. At the beginning, the dehumidification operation on the first day is: when the temperature in the kiln rises to 60 degrees, start dehumidification, each dehumidification takes about 30 minutes, and dehumidification is performed every four hours. This is done continuously for one day. Dehumidification on the second day: dehumidification is performed every three hours, and each time the dehumidification reaches the top of the kiln, no white wet steam can be seen. Repeat the dehumidification and drying again, and repeat the operation until the wood is dried.

3. Drying process of pine wood: Taking 2 cm as an example, when the temperature in the kiln rises to 45 degrees, start to inject steam into the kiln, and it can also be injected for four hours. When the temperature in the kiln rises to 60 degrees, start dehumidification, and dehumidify once every four hours at the beginning, and dehumidify for fifteen minutes each time. This is done continuously for one day, and on the second day, it is also dehumidified once every four hours, and each time the dehumidification reaches the top of the kiln, and then all the dehumidification ports are closed, and dehumidification is performed again after four hours. This operation is repeated until the wood is dried (also later drying).

4.Drying process of hard miscellaneous wood: Take 2-3 cm as an example. When the temperature in the kiln rises to 45 degrees, steam is added to the kiln to start heating. When the temperature is above 60 degrees, turn off the steam after one day of steaming. When the steam is turned off, start to drain the moisture. At the beginning, drain it once every four hours for 20 minutes each time. On the third day, drain it once every three hours for one hour each time until it is dried. Dry it to 12% moisture content and then leave the kiln.

5. Temperature: During the wood drying process, the temperature in the kiln is between 60-100 degrees (but the temperature depends on the type of wood), and cannot exceed 100 degrees. The water bucket under the humidity meter must be filled with water, and one end of the medical cotton yarn is wrapped around the rod of the thermometer, and the other end is placed in the water bucket filled with water.
