When purchasing oil pressing machines, one may be asked about cold pressing and hot pressing.

Many customers may not fully understand what cold pressing and hot pressing are, so they may feel confused.

So what is cold press and hot press? what the difference between them?

1-    What is cold press and hot press?

Simply put, cold pressing and hot pressing are a way/method in the oil extraction process.

Customers can choose either cold pressing or hot pressing. Both of these oil extraction methods can obtain crude oil by using the oil machine.

2- What difference between cold press and hot press?

If the hot pressing method is used, before pressing, the raw materials should be placed in a frying pan for frying and heating. This process is called "frying" (which can be carried out simultaneously with grinding and heating). The raw materials after frying are generally squeezed once to obtain high-quality crude oil.

If the cold pressing method is used, after the machine heats up, the cleaned raw materials can be directly poured into the hopper for pressing. To ensure the quality of the oil, it is generally necessary to press the raw materials 2-3 times.

3- Which is better between cold pressing and hot pressing?

From the perspective of crude oil quality. Hot pressing is more effective than cold pressing. Because before hot pressing, the material is heated and fried to produce better oil.

From the perspective of device configuration. Cold pressing is better. Because there is no need to purchase an additional frying pan, the raw materials can be directly pressed.
